QUESTION: If I want to use a photo of my dog, can I just e-mail you the photo?
Answer: Yes, that works fine most of the time. Please see requirements for photos below.

QUESTION: What is the price to use my own dog photo?
Answer: In most cases $7.50 for one photo, the second for $5.00 and after that $3.00 each. It requires taking it through an "imaging" process that includes erasing the background and then inserting it into the background of your choice (I have many to choose from) and then sending the unpainted version to you by e-mail or posting it to a web page for your approval before you commit to an order.

QUESTION: Can I request any number of designs without charge?
Answer: I make the judgment that if you request a design, then you are
interested in ordering. A free design is included in each product you order.
After that, because putting together a design takes anywhere from 10 minutes
to a half hour, there is a $5.00 charge.

QUESTION: If I send you a photo, will you just paint it "as is".
Answer: Sorry no - because it's not my design. I really want to do my own designs, i.e. backgrounds which I have spent many hours composing. Every once in awhile I consent to doing a plain gradient background, but honestly, I want to do a design that's mine or a famous painting (which makes no sense but I've started to feel as if the famous paintings, because of the dogs added,
are kind of "mine" in a sense.) For me, just doing the dog is just a print, cut
and paste (or heat bond) activity.

REQUIREMENTS FOR PHOTOGRAPHS

QUESTION: What are the requirements for photographs?
Answer: It needs to be:
1) Taken at a straight on angle, eye level with the dog, not too much from above
2) Clear, with good lighting, especially if it's going to be for a t-shirt transfer design.
3) The image should be at least 3 inches high at no less than 72 DPI (dots per inch). Sometimes I can work with them smaller.
4) If the head from one photo is to be imaged on to another, the angle should be the same as well as the lighting and coloring. The charge for this is $5.00

I can make photographs a little lighter if they are too dark and vice versa but not a lot.

REGARDING DONATIONS

QUESTION: What is your response to requests to donate one of your items?

Answer: I receive many requests to donate. If I donated to everyone who asked I would not be able to make a living at all. I donate to my chosen charities and I sell at wholesale prices to Rescue groups on a limited basis.
I lose money doing this but that's part of my "donation". A few of my
products are also listed in the gift shop of a major rescue site - www.smallpawsrescue.com and money that they earn from selling my products goes toward rescue work and vet bills. (Also, It doesn't really matter, but in order to deduct anything which many of you make special mention of, I would have to donate $2.500 prior to being able to list that deduction.)

QUESTION: DO YOU SELL THE TRANSFER DESIGNS SEPARATELY?
Answer: Sorry, not at this time.

QUESTION: If I wanted you to take the best head shot of my dog and "image it on to another body shot, can you do that?
Answer: Yes It would be 2 photographs, plus the imaging = $10.00

QUESTION: If I have a background of my own that I like and want to use, can I
send it to you?
Answer: I would prefer you choose one of my backgrounds. I hope people are not offended but I want to paint my own designs.

QUESTION: I belong to a rescue group. Do you sell wholesale and what are the terms?
Answer: Yes, in limited quantities and with 4 to 6 weeks notice since I have to fit it in with my other orders. Payment should be sent once the order has been confirmed. There are no exception to this rule except if it is a large order (over $500), you can pay for half up front and half two to three weeks later depending on how your order had been scheduled. Wholesale orders cannot be charged because of the percentage that is taken.

QUESTION: Will you mail to another address?
ANSWER: Yes - no extra charge

QUESTION: Do you gift wrap?
ANSWER: Yes. The first is FREE, the second is $2.50 for nice paper, a bow
and a little card.

QUESTION: If I want to change the color scheme of a switch plate or another
of your products a little, can I do that?
Answer: Yes, I can change or add color to a background to make it more
suitable for your decor. If it is not extensive, there would be no charge.

QUESTION: If anything arrived broken would you replace it?
Answer: Yes. You would need to send it back to me and within two to three
weeks I would send you a replacement. Or if you preferred a refund, I would
refund your money.

Note: If you are not completely satisfied, you can return anything for any reason within 10 days of receipt. I do not reimburse postage unless it's my fault, but I will refund your money either by Paypal or by check within 5 days.

QUESTION: Can I just e-mail you my order instead of filling out the order form?
Answer: Yes, but please include your full name and address. I will confirm> your order within 48 hours, usually within 24 barring a computer crash (I live in the "lightening capital" of the world.)

QUESTION: Can I call you with my order?
Answer: Yes, you can call TOLL FREE 1-877-300-8302 between 10 a.m.
and 3 p.m. EST. It is my personal phone, so I usually just say "Hello, this is
Jean".

QUESTION: In T-shirts or sweat shirts, if you don't have my size or the color I
want, can I have it special ordered?
Answer: Yes, but please allow 4 to 6 weeks delivery. (The manufacturer charges a minimum of $12.00 shipping whether I order one shirt or 6 and then they also have a minimum order of $100. or I pay a $10 charge.)

QUESTION: If I find a photo on another site and would like it duplicated, can
you do that if I send you the web site address?
Answer: Only to use as a jumping off point or as an example to create something new. I do not want to infringe on anyone's copyright. I would modify it in my own style. If you want, you can use famous paintings, i.e. to use as backgrounds without infringing on a copyright as long as the artist has been dead for 50 years and the painting is in public domain.

QUESTION: Will you use logos instead of your own art work in designs?
Answer: I would find that rather self defeating as an artist. I don't find
satisfaction in reproducing someone else's art work. (I also will not design logos.)

Note: My art depends largely on the generosity of my customers who send me photographs. I do not intentionally infringe on anyone's rights and if your dog should appear on my web site without your permission, then it came from someone else. If you do not want me to use it, then let me know and I would delete it from my files. I am very fortunate in that 99.9% of my customers are "flattered" that I want to use their dog in my work and I am flattered that they're flattered! I am always very excited to receive good photographs. It always feels like a special gift to me.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:

So far I have shipped orders to Japan, the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Finland, Australia, France, Norway and Canada. As an example, I can mail a
switch plate or pin(s) for $5.00 to any country by Global Priority Mail. I can mail
a t-shirt or whatever would fit in a large Global Priority mail envelopes - up to
4lbs. for $9.00 The post office won't insure Global Priority Mail, so if anything
happened to your product, I would have to do it over for you. So far this hasn't
happened.

see a list of rates come up. The fastest, cheapest way for orders that contain
fragile items such as clocks, tiles, canisters or perfume bottles is by Airmail
Parcel Post. I only charge you what the post office charges me.
