PHOTO REQUIREMENTS
PHOTOS CAN BE SENT VIA E-MAIL
in the following formats:  jpg, jpeg, png or gif

Please read carefully.

Photos are approved for use on the condition  that you are happy that I might
be using your dog(s) in my art.     I actually believe that the warm feelings I share
with my customers and their love for their dogs and desire to share them with
the world somehow comes through & other people can feel it.   It should also
be understood, that just as other dog artists suggest, your photo should
not be shared with any one else who might use the photo publicly for profit.

If the photo is of professional quality and meets the guidelines fully,  there
is no charge.  Otherwise, if anything more than simple detailing needs to be
done, there will be a $10 charge for the first photo and $5.00 for any
additional photos.  I will let you know before hand or waive the charge up
front.  You will  be sent a preview for approval.

1)  Straight on angle - not shot from above
2)  Shows the whole dog (or cat) - no paws sunk in  grass or pillows.
      (If I used photos like that, then there  would be no paws.)
3)  Good lighting and focus-which hopefully shows the eyes (except with certain
      long  haired  dog breeds).  No harsh shadows or light.
4)  Should be at least 3 inches high in your photo in order to be enlarged
      without losing too much detail.
