HANDCRAFTED POLYMER CLAY JEWELRY

THE PROCESS: The jewelry is made from polymer clay which is first rolled out like dough and cut into different
shapes and sizes. Little tools I made myself are then used to make the variety of impressions before they are
baked in an oven. No molds are used for this jewelry except for a few of the barrettes, which are then also
individually "impressed". Once they are "cured", they are base coated, painted and varnished. Embellishments
may be added such as: gold or silver foiling accents, different kinds of beads and pearls, pieces of chain
and/or wire, and brass charms in gold, brass or silver color.
